Gastric dilatation-volvulus (GDV), also known as bloat, is a sudden, life-threatening emergency where a dog’s stomach fills with gas and twists. To spot it, watch for a swollen or hard stomach, unproductive vomiting (trying to throw up but nothing comes out), and severe restlessness. This condition cuts off blood flow, so you must take your dog to a vet immediately because every minute counts to save their life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
